The Georgia Historical Society is excited to offer a new resource for Georgia’s eighth-grade Georgia Studies teachers. Georgia in the American Revolution includes three activities designed to meet the Georgia Standards of Excellence for eighth-grade Georgia Studies. Resource videos give an introduction to the topic, provide instructions for each activity, and include activity answers.
Download the teacher guide and watch the teacher overview video for a detailed description of each activity. The primary and secondary sources included in the activities can be used beyond the three activities to enhance lesson plans on the American Revolution.
